Two weeks ago, I received a gift in the mail from 2 good friends. It was a bottle of wine that was purchased from wine.com. I have never ordered from an online wine/liquor store, but I had to take a look at the site after I got this gift. The layout of the site is very nice. They give you many ways to search for the wines that you are looking for. I noticed searches by type, region, winery, price, and rating. They boast that they have over 14,000 wines. I am expecting that is total bottles, not kinds. The site sells anything that fits with wine. I have not compared prices to my local store, but the prices I did see seemed reasonable. Wine.com also has a club that you can join. I really think this would be a great thing to join with a group of friends. Every month you can have a small wine tasting and see what you and others think of that wine of the month! If you are looking for a specific bottle of wine that your local store does not carry, I would recommend taking a look here to see if wine.com carries it.
