I was trying to get today declared as a National Holiday, but the US wouldn't allow it. I turn 25 today, and am doing nothing but having fun. I have been telling everyone that today is the start of my "Quarter Life Crisis", so that will be my excuse this year if I do anything wrong! The song that I chose for today's post is "Why Georgia" by John Mayer. The main reason why I picked this song is because this is where I first heard about the quarter life crisis idea. I heard it a few years back, and just knew that this was going to be my motto for my 25th year! "Why Georgia" is also a very popular song my Mayer, so I am sure that most of you have heard it already. If this is the first time hearing about this song, I highly suggest downloading it and giving it a try. It is one original songs by John that got me hooked! I have always like his vocals, and the instrumentals are very soft and modest throughout the song. The style of the song makes it very easy to listen and really get into the lyrics of the song. Like I said above, this really is a great song to listen to. I hope you give it a try...even if you only listen to the sample that Apple iTunes gives!
