When I saw today's video, my eyes got really wide and I started to think of the first time that I saw the Apple iPod. I remember looking at how cool it looked, how small it was, and what a great idea it was! Now that I look at that first iPod, I think it is so clunky compared to what is out there now. What a change in just a few years!

Today's video is the first commercial that Apple used to sell their iPod. It is not like today's commercials with the bright background and all of the people-shadows dancing to their iPods. Back when it aired, it caught my attention, but I do not think it would be as good today. The videos they are using now are by far more eye-catching. It is a lot of fun to watch today's video and see the direction that Apple has taken the iPod...what will be the next big change?

A few days ago, I got sent the link to see Justine open her first bill from AT&T (with the new iPhone). The bill came in a USPS box, and was very thick. She actually taped opening the bill and looking through each page. It looked like there were a few ads, and then a ton of pages recapping her month's worth of calling/messaging.

There were 2 things that I really loved about the video. First, it was great when the iPhone music started to play when she was looking through the pages. It was the perfect music selection for this scenario. Second, I loved how she pushed that e-billing would be a better approach than paying $10 to ship a bill and waste all of that paper.

Since I have seen the video, I have heard about it from many other friends, on my local news (Buffalo, NY), and even on the main page for Google News! I am not shocked that this video has gone "viral", and am very happy with the message it is sending out!

I was watching Around the Net yesterday, and I almost fell off of my chair when I saw the video for 2 guys making money on the streets in NYC. You expect to see people playing an instrument or singing, but these guys brought a Guitar Hero Guitar and a radio and did air guitar to the songs playing. The other guy held up a sign saying they have the guitar, but need money for the play station 2. Genius!

I was amazed when this got passed to me a few weeks ago. When I think of a prison and their free time outside, I think of people running around, playing sports, working out etc...i never thought what this video showed! I have seen other videos on Youtube where prisons have done different dances and different songs, so I am guessing this is not something they just felt like doing, but was something they are made to do daily. I will have to look for more information as to why they do these videos.
